A housing dream the whole family can look forward to

A life-changing experience with the Spindrift customer service team helped Victoria overcome her new home building fears to become one of Spindrift’s newest community residents.

Victoria moved to Margaret River with her children seven years ago, seeking a fresh start for her family. Immediately falling in love with its easy-going nature, she began making plans to find a permanent home.

Victoria initially decided against building a new home, being concerned about the scale and complexity of the task. However, her enquiries about building at Spindrift completely changed her mind.

“I was guided and supported in every detail,” said Victoria. “My experience was like a walk through my favourite forest trail. I felt safe, supported, and consulted in all my options to move forward when it came to block choice, house design, contracts and negotiating the offer and acceptance process.” By the end of the experience, “it seemed like our best option was to create a home we could call our own,” Victoria said.

In her own words, “the vast walks on the beach that can go on for hours, the forest walks with all their beauty whilst teeming with life in the undergrowth, and the serenity of it all after a busy week or day.  There’s always a space somewhere for you to gather your thoughts, take a moment and breathe in the richness of the natural environment. The early mornings before the paths and beaches have been walked upon, and the sunsets at dusk, are especially memorable.”  

The warm and welcoming nature of the local community also played an important part in her decision to put down permanent roots. Shortly after moving to Margaret River, she and her family fell in love with the local way of life and welcoming culture. “It made us feel like we had come home,” Victoria beamed.

Speaking about her new life at Spindrift, Victoria said “I love being able to live in the town my children and I call home, and being thankful that we have been lucky enough to choose how it looks and where it was built. That’s the future I was dreaming of.”
